Excellent namesake. Perfect dough. Just the right amount of char, chew and thickness! I had a pizza with oak roasted mushrooms, Calabrian chili peppers, and (when in Texas…) a drizzle of Texas honey! Honey on a pizza is a first for me, but it works. Tried two more pizzas, including a delicately flavored aglio e olio (garlic and olive oil) pizza in bianco with: mozzarella, fontina and garlic. Equally delicious!
The service was quick and friendly too, so it will definitely be one of my go to pizzerias. Next on my list is trying their original San Antonio outpost because they have several enticing pizzas on the menu the Plano place does not have. There was also a couple of pasta offerings on the board but they sounded pretty basic.
